I admit it: I have a love-hate relationship with poetry. Sometimes I love it, and other times, I just plain love to hate it.  So today, when I was remembering that I had a DA account that I used to post poetry on, I honestly couldn't remember what my name on here was! I had to log onto my old art account and fish through my journal entries to find it. I see my last journal entry was back in 2009, when I self-published 'Butterfly Girl', which I've since taken down. I never sold a single copy, and frankly, in retrospect, only about 40% of it was really any good.  So, it's no longer available for sale. I've made some realizations since I was l

I know I said July.  So sue me for being early.  I got my first proof copy in the mail today and, surprisingly, can find absolutely nothing wrong enough with it to require another go.  The cover lines up right, the pages seem to be aligned correctly. There are one or two extremely minor niggles, but I'm the only person on the planet who'd notice them. So for anyone who is interested, it is available at: http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=2293632 Print: $12.95 e-book: $6.00 For whatever reason, the e-book only seems to be available via my storefront right now (left column), not sure why, but it's probably because it was only just rel

Anime, video games, instant messenger--seriously, sometimes I wonder how I get ANYTHING done.  When it comes to my various projects, the answer is, unfortunately, very slowly. But the thing is, I have an obsessive personality.  Once I get my mind on something it's very difficult to tear myself away from it.  That applies to both work and play. So I tend to finish things in record time and then disappear for months on end while I'm obsessing over something else. I love thi

Thankyou, that you have added my little forest stream to your collection,my Dear.
No problem at all. It's nostalgic for me. The trail I used to hike with my parents when I was a kid looked quite a bit like this.

The lighting, the brush strokes, it's a great piece.
Hey~
Just popping by to say that your username made me smile. :)
And you also write very nice poetry...you definitely deserve more recognition on this site!
Thanks. It's because, well...I go through a lot of paper. haha.

It's always nice to hear that someone likes my work.
thanks for the fav.
no problem. When it comes to poetry I'm really passive/aggressive, so when I find one I like, I feel like I HAVE TO fav it. haha.
